Offers a strong critique of traditional anthropological studies from an Indigenous and postcolonial perspective. In Mayalogue, Native Mayan scholar Victor Montejo provides an alternative reading and interpretation of cultures, challenging Western ethnocentric approaches that have marginalized Native knowledge and worldviews in the past.
